The IT Assets Database was replaced by the IT Admins CMDB and is EOL / End of Life, no further development will be done on this project.
History reports are a nice to have, depending on how many people work in the database and e.g. who is managing the data or the department manager. It helps to keep track of the most important and most changed assets, namely workstations, printers and servers & equipment. The reports are generated, if activated, once a day for the past 24 hours. They will show a menu like overview and details to each of the changes that had been going on.
See SysConfig for information on how to activate them (set a last executed date for the according parameter in the past / like 1/1/1900 and an according scheduled time like 07:00 AM).
